Whilst tweaking aforementioned rather unsettling dark-artsy scene in previous post, this arrives in e-mail box:

Word of the Day for Wednesday, March 19, 2008:

transmute \trans-MYOOT; tranz-\, transitive verb
1. To change from one nature, form, substance, or state into another; to transform.
2. To undergo transmutation.
Transmute is from Latin transmutare, “to change utterly,” from trans-, “across” + mutare, “to change.”

So here I am, working on both extreme ends of this story element at the same time, and this too arrives with daily horoscope in the e-mailbox this morning:

A Feverish Spring
The Vernal Equinox brings a clean start

… Life, rebirth and the triumph of light over the forces of darkness are major themes of the Vernal Equinox. Heaven and Earth do a lover’s dance as the Sun caresses the Earth with its warmth, and the Earth responds by giving birth to new life.
Religious, pagan and secular practitioners have celebrated this lush beginning of Spring for thousands of years – and you can, too! As always, the Sun transiting into Aries marks the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

Egadz. How does it know??
